A Focus on Co-Fermentation Experiments

Emelie Maeyens has years of experience in the world of beers, including at 3 Fonteinen. She is now active in both beer and wine, with a focus on co-fermentation experiments.

In 2021, Maeyens produced her first wines, Drap Wijn, for which she used grapes from befriended winemakers in Belgium and Germany. She vinified her wines at her parents former 'chicken coop' in Oostkamp and is steadily investing in her domain. Her workshop moved to a larger location in Oostkamp recently, notwithstanding that she deliberately wants to keep production small-scale.
