Bart is a Managing Partner at Thia Ventures, investing at the intersection of food, biotech and health. He has a longstanding experience in biotech investing, having in the past established and led Droia Ventures, a global oncology-focused VC fund. Bart started his career at BCG and since then combined active investing with director mandates in innovation. He was on the Boards of GIMV and IWT and he is today on Vlaio’s decision board for innovation support.

Recognising the growing importance of biotech in transforming our food systems, he founded Thia with his ex-BCG colleague and former Louis Dreyfus Company CEO, Serge Schoen.
