For national radio station Studio Brussel, he has interviewed demigods such as Shaquille O’Neal and Paris Hilton. For Studio Shift, the pop-up radio station of FTI Gent and In The Pocket, Bert Van Steenberghe will have to make do with the top scorers and socialites of the science and technology world. Though that will no doubt also yield sensational confessions, because apart from the fact that all FTI Gent guests are overflowing with potential as well, Van Steenberghe himself is a pro too.
In 2014, the radio maker joined Studio Brussel, where he is now responsible for sonic branding, while still being behind the mic himself. For the past ten years, he has worked there on the morning and weekend slots, on programmes such as Zender, Camping Belgica and The Greatest Switch, and on live broadcasts from Tomorrowland, Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop.
