Science Comedian

Lieven Scheire is the face (and voice) of Nerdland, through which he – together with a small army of equally geeky friends – brings science and technology to a wide audience. The Belgian comedian and physicist wrote several bestselling titles in the Nerdland book series, hosts the podcast of the same name, creates science programmes for TV and also organises Nerdland Festival, the country’s biggest science festival. In 2023, it attracted more than 20,000 visitors.

His mix of science and comedy, but just as much of extensive dossier knowledge and witty light-heartedness is infectious. And it’s one of the reasons why his new show on artificial intelligence is, once again, playing in front of sold-out audiences everywhere.
