Lander Burgelman
Lander Burgelman is a PhD researcher at Ghent University, working in the field of quantum computing. He specializes in quantum error correction, which asks the question of how we can combine imperfect components into a large-scale quantum processor that is more robust than the sum of its parts.
By tackling this problem together with collaborators from both academia and industry, his research aims to link theory and experiment in a practical way, giving an honest view on both the potential triumphs and challenges in near-term quantum computing.
