De Vooruit
De Vooruit has a somewhat similar history as its neighbouring Wintercircus. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was bustling with cultural activity. But by the middle of the century, the building had fallen into considerable disrepair. Today, it is not only home to the avant-garde arts centre VIERNULVIER, but also the beating heart of Ghent’s arts and culture scene.
